what is not allowed
- Any image, video or text depicting or describing a minor in a sexual way, real or generated.
- Any conversation aimed at approaching a minor for sexual purposes, obtaining images of them or blackmailing them.
- Sharing or promoting links to such content.
how we prevent it
- Minimum age of 16, checked by the server; a refusal is final.
- Automatic moderation before delivery of every photo, every message and every profile photo. Anything suspected of involving a minor is blocked, even at low confidence.
- No messages from strangers: you only receive secrets from friends, or through a link a friend chose to share.
- In-app reporting: on every secret (“…” menu while reading) and every profile (Friends → “…” → Report). Reporting immediately blocks the person and keeps the content for our team.
- Blocking any user at any time.
what we do when it is reported
- The content is removed and the account suspended during review, within 24 hours.
- Child sexual abuse material is reported to NCMEC (CyberTipline) and, in France, to PHAROS; we cooperate with law enforcement as required by law.
- Evidence needed for investigations is stored securely for as long as the law requires.
report
- In the app: “…” menu on a secret, or “…” on a friend → Report.
- By email: safety@sweetin.app (reply within 24 hours).
- If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (911 in the US, 112 in Europe).
